Throughout the night Golden Princess proceeded to set various southerly courses paralleling the U.S. coasl. 'n ihemarning we leh u.s. territorial waters and entered into Mexican controlled waters. Here we made a small alteration of course to port and continue southwards. Our position 01 noon was 33040.5' North, ] 20046.9' Wesl.

The Cruisers in San Francisco

SAN FRANCISCO 12TH APRIL 2007 Our departure from San Francisco was delayed due to a mechanical failure of share side loading equipmenl. This caused a delay in loading passenger baggage and ship's stores. Finally at around 20:45 all passenger baggage and necessary stores were loaded meaning we could finally let go our lines at 20:59. Once our lines were let go we came astern out of our berth and sung around onto our departure track out of San Francisco bay. We passed abeam of the former prison Alcatraz at 21: 18 and then under the famous Golden Gate Bridge at 21 :30. Once clear of the bridge we preceded away from San Francisco following the Traffic Separation Scheme that controllers ship's entering and leaving San Francisco Bay. On exiting the Traffic Separation Scheme Golden Princess proceeded to set various southerly courses away from San Francisco and the Monterey Bay area.
